I know what you’re thinking- that only people with ‘Mental health issues’ go for therapy. Is this true? No– whether you are aware of it or not, you practice emotional wellbeing on the daily, in the small, yet significant choices which you make and the experiences which imprint on you. So, let me bring to your attention that when you think of Psychology, it is MUCH more holistic than just mental illness alone. What we do, what we experience and how our feelings dictate our choices are far greater than us choosing to attend therapy only when we hit rock bottom. Emotional wellness points to the way we navigate the world each and every day. We are ALL practicing emotional wellbeing, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. Interesting, Right? I am Zahraa Surtee and I am a Qualified Registered Counsellor who is so passionate about Emotional Wellbeing, that I’ve made it my life’s purpose to help those become more consciously aware of who they truly are. I believe in a holistic paradigm and with this in mind, I consider each and every one of my clients beyond mere diagnoses to intelligent, magnificent beings who are capable of becoming consciously aware of and taking a better hold of their own lives. The work that I do with you transcends mere therapy. YOU learn how to become an active agent of your OWN life.
